Care Guide
Wear and Care
Dance Paws are handmade in the U.S.A. from premium materials selected for performance and longevity. Follow these guidelines to keep your pair looking and feeling their best.
Putting On Your Dance Paws
Line up the tip of each toe with its corresponding toe hole, then pull them on. Dance Paws should feel tight at first. To help them stretch, you can stuff them with newspaper or socks. They will stretch to their final fit in four to six hours of wear. Like ballet slippers, they are meant to fit snugly and securely.
Trimming for a Custom Fit
With the Paws on, mark the fabric where the toe joins the top of the foot. Do not mark between the holes or near the bottom pad. Take them off.
Cut carefully, since a small cut makes a big difference. Snip a straight line from the hole to the mark. Trim the flaps to make a smooth curved shape. This prevents tearing.
Care Instructions
Hand Wash
Gently hand wash in cold water. Machine washing is fine when they need it.
Air Dry Flat
Lay flat on a clean towel to dry. Never wring, twist, or tumble dry.
Store Flat
Store flat or loosely rolled in a breathable bag — never folded at a sharp crease.
Materials & Construction
Novasuede Sole
Synthetic Novasuede provides the ideal balance of slip and grip for turns and footwork across all dance surfaces.
Powermesh Upper
Powermesh spandex hugs the foot without restriction, keeping the paw secure through leaps, extensions and contact work.
Reinforced Seams
Double-stitched perimeter seams resist separation even under repeated flexion and pointed-foot stress.
Handmade Finish
Each pair is cut and assembled by hand in the U.S.A., with quality checked at every step of production.
